On the educational side of things, operations at the Emergency Response Training Center are centered around our goal to expose and educate as many people as possible in the area of prehospital emergency care and how to be prepared and respond in emergency situations. It does not matter your age of level of training; anyone can help in some way, from calling 911 to performing CPR, to becoming a First Responder who arrives on scene of emergencies. Every role is vital in the chance of survival of those in need.
Whether you want to become an EMS Provider, get trained as part of an organized group or team, or just want to learn for personal reasons, the courses we offer at the Emergency Response Training Center will help you reach your goals at any level.
For individuals looking to become a licensed EMS responder, we offer Medical First Responder (MFR), Emergency Medical Technician- Basic (EMT-B), MFR to EMT-B Matriculation and RN to EMT-B initial education training. We also offer lecture and practical credits in Continuing Education for EMS Providers who are currently licensed.
For people seeking training in CPR and first aid, we are an authorized provider for the American Red Cross. Courses currently offered are CPR/ AED training for Healthcare Providers, industry and warehouse staff, teachers, medical and dental offices, or for personal interest. We also offer Wilderness & Remote First Aid, Babysitter’s Training, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Epi-Auto Injector, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) and Oxygen administration training.
Our classroom is equipped to accommodate small and large groups. For CPR training, we can also come to you for a minimum number of participants!
